From the over the counter drug store brands to the brand named ones at department stores there are a million options. If your makeup bag looks anything like mine it’s a combination of everything.
What do you like best and why? What’s worth paying extra and what can you just buy from the drug store?
From the drugstore, I buy Almay because it’s the only mascara that doesnt irritate my eyes. I do have some Christi Harris makeup, but dont use it much. Probably because it isnt fast and easy.
I did just buy Loreal Bare Minerals (or essentials - cant remember) powder base - I really like it!
For me it is not about what kind of makeup is the best because i pretty much buy something new every time. For me it is all about the makeup remover. I bought this dead sea stuff in the middle of the mall….oh about 2 years ago and my face never looked better. It was SO expensive but so worth it and of course when i went back to get some more it had been discontinued and now that i don’t have the money i once did i can’t even think about spending 80 dollars a pop on a bottle of face wash, even if it does work wonders.
Other than that, i pretty much switch from base, to powder, to pressed powder to nothing at all some days but i usually stick with Alamay (sp?) eye make up, physians formula for blush and burts bees for lip gloss. Simple and easy is my routine, but i have tried all the department store brands and they just make me break out, definitely not worth the money. I rather just choose from the selection from my local Target!
