I’m an artist and am looking for creative and new ways to use my art! For Christmas I had one of my paintings printed on greeting cards and sold them to people I know. I’d love to get into marketing, actually creating my own company, web site fun, etc… I know Etsy is one way to sell my creations but I’m looking for more ideas.
Some questions I have include: Any good/cheap websites out there? How do I watermark images so they don’t get stolen?
I’m looking for advice/ideas/things to think about/whatever as I work on this new project!

A friend and I have started a for-profit that aims to help non-profits. The idea is similar to Tom’s Shoes (tomsshoes.com); with each pair of shoes you buy, Tom’s gives a pair to children in Africa, S. America, etc. We’re taking a little different spin on the idea and are selling trendy, top quality t-shirts that target ages 13-30. With the purchase of each shirt, a portion of the profit goes to orphans in Sudan. Each new shirt released will also have a new cause (e.g. water wells in Africa, etc.).
Our website just went live at wewerenaked.com. It’s certainly not perfect, but rather is a work-in-progress. Please feel free to give suggestions on the site and, if so inclined, pre-order a shirt.
