Come on, share a little. What makes you so loyal to your brand? I’m Canon - and it’s all for their RAW processing technology. There is nothing better….sorry, Nikon, it has you beat!

I’m a Canon girl myself and always have been. I love my digital rebel and have never had problems with it over the years. I just bought a G10 and I love it as well. It will take something truly ingenious to cause me to switch my loyalty.
I will have to say that I’m a Nikon guy. Like rachel I love the RAW processing that Nikon offers and I will have to say I disagree But what makes me most loyal to Nikon is their lenses. They truly have the best glass and the lenses las longer; from the research I’ve done. Also, with Nikon they last longer w/ less Dr. Visits than canon But all in all i feel like Nikon has its pluses and Canon does too. I really think it is just what you start out using.

Side note: I’m entertaining the idea of entertaining the idea of getting an SLR. At that time, I will surely weigh all of my options quite thoroughly. Feel free to give me any other insight that you have.

I really like Canon as well for no reason other than it’s what I’ve used for the past 5 years–and it hasn’t let me down. Plus, I like the interface–and the fact that many of my friends use them too. (Thus, I can use their chargers if we ever travel.)
Also, I recently heard that on Canon SLRs, all lens are usable on any SLR. Apparently, there are certainly lenses that must be used for certain Nikon SLRs.
