The current state of healthcare delivery is unsustainable. The government cannot continue to subsidize 40+ million uninsured people, hospitals and physicians cannot provide enough charity care to meet all these needs, and the overall health of our population as a whole will continue to decline as long as we let “disease treatment” instead of “health promotion” drive our healthcare system.
